IT’S HARD TO SCREW THIS UP

screwsIt’s pretty hard to screw up mentoring because it really is not mysterious or difficult. Just one rule for mentors: stay in full-attention listening mode at regular meetings. Just one rule for mentees: take full advantage and prepare intentionally for regular meetings. Otherwise, there are 3 ways to screw up at mentoring:
* Don’t meet often and when you do
* Don’t listen, and also
* Don’t keep your promises
See? Even clumsy efforts that keep best interests in focus will spell success in mentoring.
